Introduction

MS-CIT is an IT literacy course started by MKCL in 2001. It is the most popular IT Literacy course in Maharashtra. In the 21st century, digital creation, storage, presentation, distribution, accessed, archived, and management of new actionable knowledge is becoming a common practice. It only seems natural that it has become an essential part of one’s personal, professional and social life. It has also transformed the way of living in the 21st century. MS-CIT attempts to propagate it through IT Awareness, Literacy, Functionality and Applicability among the common people with a view to bridge the Digital Divide and the resultant Knowledge Divide and Development Opportunity Divide. This improves job readiness, social behavior, and self-confidence, ultimately allowing individuals to work effectively in the 21st Century workplace.

The content of this course is:

  1. Self-learning sessions using eLearning through MKCL's eLearning Revolution for All (ERA).
  2. Hands-on practice sessions.
  3. Facilitating learning through certified professionals.
  4. Academic interaction, assessments, and collaboration.
  5. Reading and comprehending a well-illustrated book

 

Course Duration: 144 Hours (Course can be covered in 2 / 3  Months )

 

Examination  

1) Duration of Exam: 60 minutes (1 Hour)

2)Total Questions: 50, Total Marks: 50

3)Marks per Question : 1

4)Objective Questions 15 and Practical Questions 35

5)All the questions in the examination are divided into 3 levels.

 (Level 1 = Low difficulty level, Level 2 = Medium difficulty level, Level 3 = High difficulty level)
